What’s something you wish everyone knew about mental health?
You don’t have to wait until things feel unbearable to ask for help. Taking care of your mental health is not a sign of weakness.
-
What therapeutic modalities or techniques do you love using, and why?
I love using CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) because it helps clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and empowers them to make meaningful changes. I also value using a person-centered approach because it allows me to meet clients where they are and create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space. Additionally, I enjoy incorporating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients accept difficult emotions, connect with their values, and take meaningful steps toward the life they want.

What’s your approach to therapy in one sentence?
I believe therapy should be a safe, judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.
-
If you weren’t a therapist, what job would you have?
Probably something where I could still work with and help people. A Social Worker!
-
What is something that always makes you smile?
My dog Zeus when he knows he did something bad and gives me his guilty face.
-
What do you love most about working with clients?
I love watching clients discover their own strength and realizing that they are capable of more than they initially believed.
