My Therapy Style
Michelle
-
What’s something you wish everyone knew about mental health?
That healing isn’t about “fixing” yourself. It’s about understanding yourself with compassion and building a life that aligns with your values.
-
What therapeutic modalities or techniques do you love using, and why?
I love any approach that blends insight with action—helping clients understand themselves more deeply while also taking steps toward the life they want.
-
What’s your approach to therapy in one sentence?
I help people explore where they’ve been, understand who they are now, and move toward who they’re becoming.
-
If you weren’t a therapist, what job would you have?
I would probably be a historian. I love learning, researching, and understanding the stories that shape people and places.
-
What is something that always makes you smile?
My cats when they have the zoomies don’t just make me smile, they crack me up every single time.
-
What is your favorite way to unwind after a long day?
In my free time, you’ll usually find me gardening, reading, crafting, or enjoying quiet time with my family and our three cats.
