a little bit about me…

I was born and raised in Massachusetts and I now live in Georgetown, TX with my husband and our 3 kitties. I earned my Master’s of Science in Counseling Psychology from Fisher College in the heart of Boston, MA.

My passion for therapy grew out of my work as a foster care social worker, where I supported youth and families navigating trauma, transition, and systemic challenges. In that role, I saw firsthand how healing begins when people feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported. Those experiences shaped my commitment to trauma‑informed, culturally responsive care and inspired me to become a therapist who honors each person’s story while helping them build the life they deserve.

My practicum and internship hours were completed, and soon grew into full-time work, at a community nonprofit center that supported women, men, and children who had experienced domestic violence and/or sexual assault. During this time, I provided crisis intervention, safety planning, emotional support, and advocacy for individuals navigating acute trauma and complex life transitions. I worked closely with survivors across diverse backgrounds, offering a compassionate, non‑judgmental space to process their experiences and regain a sense of safety and control. This work deepened my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of culturally attuned, empowerment‑focused care—foundational values that continue to guide my approach as a therapist.

Outside of work, I’m likely doing anything crafty (crocheting blankets or stuffed animals, amigurumi, making invitations, stickers, t-shirts, vinyl decals, etc.), baking, gardening, traveling, or spending time with my friends and family on the east coast.

Clients often tell me they appreciate my calm presence and the way I help them make sense of overwhelming emotions without judgment.  Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, stress, identity concerns, or major life transitions, you don’t have to do it by yourself.  Together, we’ll create a space where you can breathe, reflect, grow, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that deserve care.

If you’re ready to begin, I’m here to walk alongside you.
