a little bit about me…

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I’m the daughter of immigrant parents and the oldest of four siblings. Growing up in a close-knit family shaped my values around resilience, respect, and supporting others.

I attended The University of Texas at Austin, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, and later pursued my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Houston. Over the past 10 years, I have worked in the social work field in a variety of roles, including as a case manager, grief support group facilitator, and now as a therapist. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals and families through many different life challenges.

I am especially passionate about helping break the stigma surrounding mental health within the Latinx community. I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and openness, creating a welcoming space where individuals feel comfortable sharing their experiences and exploring their emotions.

Outside of my work, one of my greatest joys is spending time with my family. I enjoy getting creative through arts and crafts projects and relaxing with a good book.
